Chinatown Remixed 2014
With this project I wanted to explore the reciprocal relationship between people and the spaces within which they coexist. The character of our community shapes us, while our actions simultaneously influence and form the community in which we live. Each individual identifies with different components from the neighbourhood – from the iconic buildings to that structure that seems oddly ordinary but has special meaning to some. Where you live becomes part of you and you become part of it. A portrait of one requires the other.
