New Artwork: Quilted Conversations

Quilted Conversations

This piece will be on display for the season opener show of the BLINK Gallery June 2nd – 5th 2016, on the theme of support. It is created out of embroidered tea bags, which were then quilted together. I wanted to combine two things that came to mind when thinking of support: the idea of wrapping yourself up in a cozy blanket for comfort, and the idea of talking over a cup of tea.
