Welcome to my artist website

I am an Ottawa artist, working mostly with textiles and drawing, but I also enjoy exploring other mediums. Since moving back to Ottawa, I have been rediscovering the city, fellow artists within and Ottawa's growing creative scene.

Chinatown Remixed

The official kick off for Chinatown Remixed is Saturday Sept 24th. Come check out local artists, djs, singers, performers. The art will stay up until Oct 29th.

I am excited to be working on a project with two fellow artists from the BLINK collective for Chinatown Remixed 2016. Stay tuned for more details on the festival itself and our artwork for it.

DATES:  August 11th – 14th

This installation explores the nature of memory while inviting the viewer to walk through the drawings hanging on translucent panels of organza, which move as you walk past them, and experience the continually changing soundscape.

New Artwork: Quilted Conversations

Quilted Conversations

This piece will be on display for the season opener show of the BLINK Gallery June 2nd – 5th 2016, on the theme of support. It is created out of embroidered tea bags, which were then quilted together. I wanted to combine two things that came to mind when thinking of support: the idea of wrapping yourself up in a cozy blanket for comfort, and the idea of talking over a cup of tea.
